Looking Forward to an Exciting New Year!

What beautiful spring-like weather we have had lately!  It feels like we should be planting soon, and before you know it, it will be time to get outside in our gardens again!

Now is a great time to finalize what you as a family will plant together if you haven't already, along with any special nature-related activity goals that you want to make happen!  To help you get started, here are the spring kid's events and activities that we will be hosting!

- Annual Earth Day Writing Challenge (Awards to 3rd and 4th grade winners will be handed out)!

Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th-Mother's Day Grab & Go Planting Projects-Kid's can choose from bright colored pots and plants to take home to create the perfect gifts!  The project includes the containers, plants, soil, and plant tags to write a special message to their mom!

Monday, June 3rd- Annual Spring Coloring Contest Entries Due- Our Annual Spring Coloring Contest winners choose any garden theme that they love, and we set up a date in June to come out and plant their "theme garden" to take home! We have had anywhere from farm to construction zone themes, princess to frogs/turtle themes, along with dinosaur and sports-themed gardens! Our 2024 coloring sheet will be available in March, with the contest ongoing until June 3rd. Plan on participating!  Get creative, good luck, and have fun!
