Allium Sativum 'Elephant'


Forms long, narrow flat leaves, white flowers on a tall stalk and an edible, stongly scented bulb divided into bulbets or cloves, contained in a whitish skin. This variety is known for its extremely large bulbs.

Garlic Growing and Maintenance Tips

Plant 3 - 4 inches deep some 6 to 8 inches apart in fall, about 4-6 weeks before the first hard freeze in order to establish roots. Can also be spring planted.
