Low growing and open in habit, this splendid rose blooms continuously through the summer months beginning in late June. The deep wine red buds usually appear in small clusters of four to five, then open to fragrant cupped flowers (petals 15-25) of blood red. The foliage is lustrous green with good resistance to disease and joins with the flowers for a striking result. Hope for Humanity was named for the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Red Cross Society.
