2020's new normal

Fall is a beautiful time of year at Ebert's! Our grounds are brimming with mums, asters and lots of other colorful cool weather plants like pansies and purple fountain grass that are perfect for adding to your landscape, and as a background for photo ops! Choose that "perfect" pumpkin to carve, grab some straw bales and corn stalks for your fall displays at home, and check out the fun Halloween decor in our Gift Shoppe too!

Beginning the weekend of September 26th, we'll have delicious caramel apples and apple cider donuts (a yummy treat if you're craving something sweet) and we'll have fresh apples from Pieper's Apple Farm and fresh apple cider from Poyer's Market, pumpkin cookies, Chippy's Popocorn and more!

For those of you with little ones, Ebert's will be sharing children's literature by hosting on-line readings in classic dramatic fashion on our YouTube page. You can also access these videos via our "Kid's Korner" tab of this website. We hope you enjoy our first story "Click, Clack, Quack to School" by Doreen Cronin. We'll be updating periodically with new stories and crafts as we move through the fall season!

Regretfully, we have made the difficult decision to not offer fall field trips and other fall activities for 2020. We are trying our best to follow the recommendations of the CDC and the State Health Department in response to COVID-19. While we know there has been much discussion on what appropriate measures should be taken, we have chosen to err on the side of caution to keep you and our staff safe and well.
Even though we've all have had to work through some ever-changing and challenging circumstances and things are unlike the fall experience we all know and love, we are looking forward to celebrating the fall season with you in a fresh, brand new way. We can't wait to see your happy, smiling faces!
