One of the earliest of the spring-blooming perennials, hellebores, or Lenten roses, add welcome color to shaded to partially shaded areas—and can even be used as a ground cover. The Honeymoon Series features single, 2½-3 in. flowers. The flowers bloom for up to six weeks—and will even bloom when there is snow on the ground. The glossy, green leathery leaves are evergreen in warmer climates. Deer resistant and easy to grow, they grow 18-24" tall.
