Dark regal purple flowers with a yellow beard this is one of the newer varieties of dwarf iris. Flowering in spring during April-May to a height of 10  inches. Dwarf bearded iris are little powerhouses of color and form.  In a rock garden, patio container or in the border, these bright buttons will illuminate almost anywhere in your garden. They prefer some shade and spread rapidly so just a few plants will quickly increase in size.
